this band i have just came aware of(disturbed)blew me away,ive been a rock fan for 30+yrs,and thought id heard it all,but how wrong was i,this band are kick ass awesome..please get them to tour the u.k. rage in music is so cool,and it gets the message across, dont fucking mess with me!!! go.go.go.disturbed,love ya guys...rock on....

Exactly. It's more or less about "him" being different and society frowns (abuses) upon him because of it. One of the best Disturbed tracks out there. On a small side note, listening to this again, and again, it sounds more like nu metal than anything else.

I am 44 years old, love the group, the song is an awaking for anyone who has been abused in one way or another.

he's not really talking about his mother. he's refering to the way society beats him down. its more of a metaphore.
