I agree with you, it doesn't really fitt in with the Disturbed image either, they are supposed to support freedom. Especially of the mind(which their name implies somewhat). But lyrics are just a part of compostion, it's a great song in just about every other aspect.

David Draiman's done a great thing here. He makes the horror of our planet's destruction feel real and accessible in his lyrics. So many people are denying global warming, but the way David talks about it, no one who listens to this song could ever be in doubt. I haven't even talked about the music yet- great guitar and drum fills in the chorus, great drum break after the intro ends, great polyrythms in the chorus, concise yet epic, shifts in mood. I love everything about this song. ROCK ON DISTURBED HELLZ YEAH!!!

I didn't really like the video or song because of the lyrics. (I'm not for the destruction of the planet, but I don't want it in my songs unless it's very subtle!) But it ended up being a good song. I like the first part where he breaks it down, and then the solo at the end. Wow. Just wow.

why am i the first to review this song after it's been out for months? anyway, let me begin my review. this song touches on a very important subject that most people in the world ignore, the destruction of our planet. if people think metal is evil have them listen to the words of this song and i think they might have a change of heart toward the genre. great song great theme, and the best band ever what more do you want?
