new space blues from the old master

Sounding like something off Station to Station, mixed by a modern DJ, sung by Ziggy Stardust on his way to meet and now sober Major Tom.

This is a beautifully written, disco-rock number, with a cool blues sax sneaking in from behind, and an awesome 70's blue-eyed soul waa-waa guitar. Bowie's breathless, undersung vocals perfectly convey the sense of missing a loved one on a long trip far from home. And when he takes it down for that final, throaty "well...," what girl (or boy for that matter) wouldn't surrender themself to the Thin White Duke.
