Chris's persona is straight from the working class rocker.Something that is missing in todays rock music.His singing and song writing is full of passion that you can see and feel pouring from with in him.The record companies better open there eyes,how many more people out there like chris that deserve the oppurtunity to show the goods.American idol gave him the exposure he need other than that the man to hold of his own destiny.And with the solid band his has got backing him, he will be far more sucessful than all of the american idols past,present and future.Let it rip DAUGHTRY!

if Chris HAD won american idol, though, his success may not have been won in the same way as it was by not winning it. look at him now: adored by many, his songs on the radio. he seems to have succeeded in his initial task, right? to make music and gain some fans. think of american idol as pre-career publicity, if you will.

I feel in love with Chris when I heard him sing "The Letter" in Denver when he was trying out for American Idol. He is such a great guy And I will never stop loving him!!! And his Band, Joey, Josh, JP, and Brian. I love them all!

I fell in love with Chris as soon as I heard his version of Johnny Cash's Walk the Line on AI (Well, I <3'ed him before, but even more after that song)...I listen to it all the time still..and love it just as much everytime!! A.Mazing.
