This song shows a big truth | Reviewer: Federica | 4/28/2007

Gee, this is one of da most sad kinda luv songs I've ever heard..I guess these two kids never sayed their truth..maybe he didnt tell her he loved her when they were together cos he was afraid of his feelings. So, he kinda hurted her lettin' her go away. And now that he realized he lost her ,he's talkin words in his mind, lookin at her..because it's the only thing he can do. She hates him, and she's right. Fear of lovin' makes you lose people...and then, it's too late to get them back. Cos they're blown away.Think about it!

Is it loathe ironic? | Reviewer: sofi | 4/28/2007

I agree, it is amazing. It uncovers, so beautifully and perfectly, her comments (not his talks): "Did I say that I loathe you? Did I say that I want to leave it all behind?". My question is, is her talk ironic? Or did she actually loathe him and wanted to leave it all behind...? That's my eternal doubt...about myself also. Answers or comments are welcome.

I don´t really understand what the singer want to mean...but the tone of the song and how he expresses is absolutely lovely, he´s just so tender that I can´t stop listening it

    I don't agree | Reviewer: Kat | 4/6/2007

In relation to the comment Jessica made I don't agree. The lines "Did I say that I loathe you? Did I say that I want to leave it all behind?" are sung by a female, not Damien. This makes me believe it's coming from the girl he is actually singing about and her rejection of him. I think the first three lines encourage this theory as it sounds like she was trying to convince him it was for the best. It speaks to me as unrequited love not missing out on one passionate night or whatever.

As for the "I can't take my mind off you...'Til I find somebody new" I'm still not convinced it's lust. Lust is a passing thing, not something that would remain on his conscious in the shape of a certain person. I think what the lines are saying are that he needs to find love again before he can ever hope of getting over her. The song seems to pure and the lyrics simply admiration, adoration and longing.

    Pore-raising... | Reviewer: Kivmohd | 3/30/2007

This really adds the emotional dimension to the movie. CLOSER mirrors sad reality of touchy situations... the song echoes in the characters' minds and anyone else in such a situation.
