Since then I've sought his work. Just today I discovered some work he did with Lisa Hannigan for the soundtrack of a movie made in Ireland titled "Goldfish Memory". Yesterday by luck I caught "Nine Crimes" on David Letterman's Late Night Show. I keep listening to Nine Crimes trying to understand what Damien wants us to see. For me it's about mistakes that all of us have or will make. It's a tug-of- war between the head and the heart. It's about blame and begging to be forgiven. Maybe it's about wanting to start days or even entire lifes over. I will insult this masterpiece no more. Thanks Damien for the strings,the haunting voices and of couse your piano.
