The Story | Reviewer: Anonymous | 9/27/09
I love when Damien tells the story behind his songs, I remember him saying this song he wrote for his friend who saw a beautiful woman out in the rain one night, and he was almost falling in love with her as they ran for shelter together into the pub.. where they drank and talked, but it turned out she was waiting for her fiancé. Such a beautiful pain expressed in this song..
I just love this song...just hope it won't happen to me. | Reviewer: Anonymous | 2/21/09
I've never been in love with any one...i surely don't feel the pain of losing some one u loved...but for some reason, when i listen to this song...i can see, feel, taste the tears, the pain, the sorrow in his voice...Cheers Darlin' with the sligh sound of clasing the glasses (or may be the wedding bells), mixing with his voice and the music...It's just perfect.

So wonderful | Reviewer: Anonymous | 3/6/07
When I was listening to this song for the first time, from the very beginning I was sure that in the end it would go so loud and even more painful, that's just what would naturaly follow, he'll burst out- I thought. It appeals to me so much.

Simply Heartbreaking stuff | Reviewer: Tezzagamer | 5/14/05
I listened to this song and it spoke so clearly to me that I was in deep depression for a while. Believe me, if you have EVER missed a chanve with a girl who you have LOVED, then this will kill you. the way his voice is so passionate with the line "I DIE, when you mention his name" really, really hurts. Listen and be broken.
On the other side of love. | Reviewer: Anonymous | 1/6/05
"Cheers Darlin' " is one of my favourite songs from the album, as I adore the bitterness and jealousy in it and his introspective pain, and the way his voice relays those emotions so superbly. There are many hurt and angry missed opportunity songs, but "Cheers Darlin'" leaves them all for dead by its intelligence and depth.
