I love this song because it reminds me of my holiday in the Dominican Republic this year in August, where it was always played in this amazing bar. I think that it is a really good song to dance to which makes you feel good.

TIME FOR LEARNING...DON'T TAKE IT WRONG!!! | Reviewer: Anonymous | 4/12/2005

The rhythm is fine. The lyrics are completely "regionalized" to that of low class (mostly poor young crowds) Puerto Ricans. It is understood that it is a love song that tries to speak positively about how girls are pretty and they like their boys. It is extremely "ignorant" however, in its expressive language, neither in English nor Spanish. Mexican Americans were in that stage in the 1960's. Mexican Americans, and it isn't absolutely necessary to compare to any group, but just as a matter of situating/positioning ourselves in intellectualism, music sensitivity, and literacy, if any Mexican American wrote that song, he or she would not have used that "regionalized" illiterate language. Much less the other groups more distant to Puerto Rican "slang"...like I said, it is cute, I hope reggaeton goes well with them, but don't get caught like black americans did when they decided to completely ignore the real musicality and reality of good taste and literacy. You must make reggeaton a real high caliber rhythm that appeals and every music lover understands. You've started "low"...don't stay there, however! It'll be detrimental to your survival. Don't commit the "Black" mistake. Good Luck.
