This is really a sad song. John Fogerty was about to leave CCR and the lyrics could not be more plain. A country feel and swagger rhythm attempt to bring an up beat feel, but knowing the situation of the band members makes it hard to listen to. Not one of John's best, but a good effort on a disappointing album.
