i love this song- it reminds me of a mistake i made a long time ago- and this song gives me the sad realization that it really was a stupid mistake that i will probably regret for a long time

Can we please make this NOT a page for going on about past girl/boyfriends? It kinda ruins the purpose of a review page, because these definitely ain't reviews.

i messed up big time and broke my boyfriend's heart. he's let me back into his life but i keep messing things up....this song gives me strength to pull through because i hated not having him in my life and i know i can't lose him again.

This song has energy, vibrance.. and it makes me feel frightened, makes me look at the person whom I`m about to lose becouse of me. I`ve read your comments, they are courageous, you ppl are courageous! I fight everyday with myself, to make things work.. becouse I KNOW if I lose her, I will regret it. you guys should know that songs are what you make of them. yes the songwriter may have had a certain purpose a reason, a feeling on why the wrote it...you can interpret this and any song to your liking, to the state that you are feeling...can be happy...can be sad...all iknow is that this song is amazing...thanks to they guys of Coldplay ...

I just broke up with my boyfriend, I thought it was for the better, but I just realized I not only broke his heart, but mine too... It hurts so much, yet I still am convinced it is for the better. Only to see that when you're sitting all alone thinking about it is hard. And I do miss him so.

This is one of the most powerful songs I've ever heard. It reminds me of my ex...who I broke up with. I realized it was the biggest mistake of my life. He never moved on because he knew I was the only one for him and I am so grateful for that. So the last part of the song where it says I crawl back into your open arms, thats truely what I did. And I'm just so happy because he took me back.

like many other coldplay songs this one takes me back a couple years and reminds me so much of my ex girlfriend who i let get away. I was foolish and didnt realize what i had...now 2 years later she has moved on, im still in love but she ignores any advances i make to talk to her. Our relationship ended because of me and i fear it was a terrible mistake. Anyway, coldplay, warning sign especially, has a crazy way of influencing my emotions and has fueled my attempts to get her back.

The song is perfect doesn't matter much what the words mean. It's enough if they sound good to my ears

I disagree with everyone on this page...
I believe that it is a song of love and isn't about letting someone down or hurting them...
I think it is about two people that are together and are just having fun and nothing is too serious, but then they realize that what they have is special and how they feel about each other. 'Come on in - I have got to tell you what a state I'm in' is like saying how he feels.
'when the truth is - I miss you', when he spends time away from her he realized he misses her and starts to feel like he loves her.

The lyrics might not all fit into the right spots for a love song...but if you have the same motivation as me...I believe it is...it reminds me of my boyfriend and not about sad times...
