The situation is made worse where both parties feel much but say little. One of the parties then "goes away", whether by death or by other circumstance, and the song is where the one who remains is left figuring out the puzzles left behind, and wishing again he/she had said more. We have already been broken up for a few months but I went to see him on his last night...we ended up telling each other we still cared n he even wished we could go on our journeys together.
