In a lot of coldplay's songs the lyrics jump out at me because of their askewness (like in Speed of Sound) but these lyrics just melt away my heart. Sparks reminds me so much of my boyfriend, because the song has the same warm mellowness as he does. It's a warmth that flows into your body and calms everything down. I love the lullaby-like melody and the vocals (as always with Coldplay) are no less than perfect.
