My relationship of two and half years has ended a couple of weeks ago. I was shocked to read the lyrics of this song, because they practically explain every little detail of our break up.

This song makes cry. And I am a male.

I liek this song. It reminds me of Angie by the Rollimng Stones for some reasons.

I like it, theres songs that make me think of, well just things, and this is one. I love it.

Awesome...i dont need to say much, as by listening to this song you can see for yourself, but its amazing.

This song is deeply touching and extremely beautiful.

As to its meaning, I have a feeling that it is in response to Gwenyth Paltrow dealing with the death of her father and Chris trying to comfort her.

I know that if I had lost a parent, and my husband had written this song for me, I would have been very moved. 5 stars.

I am a psuedo-fan of Coldplay--there are some songs I LOVE (Yellow) and others that leave me bored. However, their newest release, Fix You, is one of the most provocative and intense songs I've ever heard...that song will stand the test of time as one of the greatest love songs ever written and joins the ranks of Foreigner's "I Wanna Know what Love Is" and The POlice's "Every Breath You Take". BOld statement to make but I'm 100% sincere!

"Fix You" is simply mind-blowing! The lyrics spoke my mind & touched deep down my heart.

Today I bought Coldplay´s X&Y. 1´d heard the last 30 seconds of Fix You played "semi-live" on TV (on some stupid nordic music awards TV-show which Coldplay attended the day before they played Forum Copenhagen). It made my heart beat faster, and I had to hear the whole song. So I bought the CD. And I have to say: Fix You is just incredible. It makes me shiver, gives me goose bumps, and I want to jump with joy and cry out to everybody: "LISTEN TO THIS, great song are still being made". The organ intro, the melody lines, Chris´s singing, the lyrics, the crescendo build of the song,the instrumental arrangement (organ, piano, acoustic guitar, el. guitar, drumming, choir), it all ads up to something very very beatiful. Song of the year certainly, maybe song of the decade.

That's my immeadiate reaction whenever i hear this song. I love it. Mainly because i can relate to it. But, i just feel everybody can learn a thing or two from listening to the song.

I love this song. Out of the Coldplay songs I've heard, this is the best. The harmony singing at the end is heavenly.
