The cd's follow the story lines of the comic books that Claudio puts out. If I remember correctly, this song deals with Claudio (the character, not the singer) and his ex-angel-esque woman, although I may be wrong - this song may be told from the PoV of the Writing Writer (tortured by his evil bicycle) and the woman he loved and lost. A letter is "One who hinders something" To hinder is to hold back and often implies stopping or prevention. I saw them in concert once and they were really good, exept for this song his vocals weren't that good.
