The Reviews about Welcome Home (page 1/ 13)
------ performed by Coheed And Cambria

Wow. | Reviewer: Ally | 11/14/09

Some people obviously just don't understand. Maybe they don't understand this song, or Coheed, or what. But ANYWAY, for those who DON'T know, every song released by Coheed and Cambria has a story behind it. Literally. There is a comic book series that is/was released that go along with every one of their albums. And this song, off of the album Good Apollo I'm Burning Star IV: Volume 1: From Fear Through the Eyes of Madness, is about the Writer falling into madness about a dishonest former lover, Erica Court. This song happens to be at a time when the Writer was hostile towards her.

You're welcome.

Darkest side of emotions | Reviewer: Wazzombie | 11/7/09

The song talks about the darkest fear lied within the emotions, emotions that rise when darkness take control over ur mind, emotions that rise when light betrays you, emotions that rise when even highest of the goodness is sacred of,emotions that rise when evil shows you a path towards hell, emotions that can kill the faith inside you,you will have on choice but to take the path of darkness. That is where you get betrayed.... Then u hear "welcome home"

Wtf? | Reviewer: Scooter Ja Broni | 10/8/09

So I like read this song but I didn't really get it because it's kind of stupid.

You know I bought a drink today, but I really just wanted a donut roll. Why the fuck did I buy a drink? I don't get it, why did I buy a drink when I was hungry?

Did I think I was a fucking astronaut who could drinnk water with some powder then it would turn into a turkey dinner when it got in my stomach?

What the fuck?

I'm not an astronaut, it makes no sense! WTF! Can you help me understand why I did this? This song didn't help me at all, it only brought more questions to mind.

Like, why the fuck did I just read this song? I've never heard of it before in my life, I don't get why I read it. I sung in my tune, and I suck at singing. So automatically the song sucks, and just doesn't make sense to me at all. Wtf is Matt doing over there ,he's so weird.

Wtf.

This song is great | Reviewer: James | 9/21/09

Every day i play with my band and we cover all songs of Claudios work and my friends always tells me that i look like Claudio when he was younger. When we play all of his songs and i play electric guitar and do vocals just like he does and i can sound exactly like him and its scary because i feel like him.I am starting to grow my hair like his so when i meet claudio next time i am going to say maybe when he is retired from making more of his albums and he is getting old that i should take his place and continue on his story and work. this would be a good idea but it would take alot because there are die hart fans that would want to take his place to.

mind blowing | Reviewer: Eric F | 9/11/09

I have been a fan of coheed for about 2 years. I own like 5 t shirts. But anyway i just seen them live. And i thought i liked them before they are even better live. But i will never forget seeing them life and the effects they had on the fans. Thanks for a great show

great song, bad punctuation in the posted lyrics | Reviewer: bp | 9/10/09

This is an aggressive song on the negative side of a relationship. Guy/girl, man/god, man/self...

You ignored me to try to please/fix/help the world when I needed you. And you acted as if I was your world, but they were more important.

I'd be better off if you wrote me off as nothing rather than playing the role of sheep for me. I'd be able to get over you. But you keep playing the sheep, leading me on... So with sin, I condemn you a demon. And Demons Out.

Opinion statment forgive spelling | Reviewer: Regor | 9/8/09

I'll openly admit i never heard of them until i replayed rockband not paying attantion until i was at the end of welcome home the end is sheer epic-ness never the less i delved a bit into the comics and find that it has a very simular vibe to that of star wars. and even harder to belive i like the comics ive read than the movies lucas released a thousand times over saying each is the last time

What I think... | Reviewer: AHyee | 8/24/09

C&C is a rock metal band with wicked lyrics and superb instrumental skills, their chemistry with each other is just plain amazing.
THeir lyrics are old school metal genius. I love songs about vengance and death and hate with a touch of love. These are strong emotions and to put it in one song is mindbending.
Actually I haven't heared of the movie, I started listening to C&C when I heared the soung, "House of Atlantic" from Good Appollo ect.

"You stormed off to scar the armada
Like Jesus played myartar
I'll drill through your hands"
Bonechilling lines.

Good, but not their best | Reviewer: Yooarel.com | 8/21/09

I love the lyrics, as well as the song, but I still prefer the stuff on IKSoSE:III. "Blood Red Summer" is fantastic. But this song is definitely epic in that sort of crowning orchestra way. Very good indeed.
