I really started to feel for this song since I've heard it for the first time. Deep and touching lyrics together with Christina's exceptionally powerful vocals make "Hurt" and "Welcome" among the greatest songs of our time. I guess in her lyrics Christina always speaks for thousands of people whose life's never been easy on their way to success. Personally, in this singer and her songs I find hope and inspiration.

I agree, it is a great song....However, most have failed to comment on the lyrical content of this song...You truly do discover who your friends are when your not "on top". Currently going through this particular situation, and I'm lucky to have a select group of friends who are there for me...I can totally relate to this song, and the fact that Christina is an amazing singer only empasizes the point of this song...From Fighter to Welcome, Christina has always managed to get me through all that life throws my way....Thanks Sister!

this song is so cool cause how the open of it is a different song (enter the circus) and when you listen to that one then this one they just run into each other and the circus music is CLASS
