Today, my daughter is a happy little girl. It wasn't always easy, but we built up a new life, far away from him. I cried my eyes out when I heard this song for the first time, it was hitting home so much. If you're a victim of spousal abuse, please get out as fast as you can, our lives got soooooo much better after we left him, I was never able to imagine that kind of improvement!
