*A great reminder* | Reviewer: Kristi | 9/17/2008
My favorite line in the song is "Bids me come and die and find that I may truly live." It's a great reminder for me of what my response should be. If I think the cross is so wonderful (which I do), I have to take up my cross daily and die to myself to be raised to *true* life.
wonderful indeed | Reviewer: sandra fernandes | 6/21/2007
u can actually imagine the cross of christ and you standing in front of it ... weeeping n hugging the CROSS
An Easter Pleaser | Reviewer: Carmen | 4/8/2007
Today my church sang this song in honor of Easter and my mom cried while I was fighting back tears. I always know that my savior will be with me in all that I do. He truly did die on the cross so we could live without fear.
inspiring | Reviewer: Larry | 3/4/2007
this song is such a wonderful song. it inspired me to think about the roots of my beliefs. the son of God came to die in the most embarrassing way possible of the time... just for us sinners. praise God for blessing Chris Tomlin and Matt Redman and their ability to reach people through their music
Truly Amazing! | Reviewer: Hannah | 2/7/2007
This song has always been one of my favorites...as the lyrics touch me in so many ways. The cross is truly wonderful...and to think that the Lord of all the heaven and the earth died on it for each and everyone of us. A powerful symbol that represents Jesus shedding his own blood for the sake of our sins.
Now that is truly amazing. Something we should all think about!!
