After hearing my pastor, Apostle Ron Carpenter Jr. (Redemption World Outreach Center of Greenville, SC), preach about "Strongholds," how to overcome them...I simply cried out, "How Great is Our God." Through faith and working the word, we are able to overcome these triumphs of adversity in our lives. Those "strongholds" that may have seemed to have us bound are only temporary. God has got something better if we get out of this mindset and start thinking on his level which extends far beyond the earth and HIGH into the heavens. On the way to the hospital after a long battle he was in a lot of pain and very weak. This song came on the radio at different times during the trip to the hospital, he would grab his wife's hand and rise it up and muster the words "How great is our God"!!! We sang this song at the funeral of our friend who was only 35, had a wife and 2 young boys...even with his great suffering he never faltered in his belief...How GREAT is our God!!!!!!!
