------ performed by Children Of Bodom

bein a part ov the HATE CREW... | Reviewer: Evil Soniq | 11/28/07

Am from India, n most ov the ppl out ter think v Indians dont appereciate metal music, well, I got nothin to say to those ppl... am a part of the hate crew from this part of the world. Six Pounder is definitely about war. Alexi screams out the word "war" so how much more obvious can he get.. as someone already said the six pounder is refered to the tank (from WW II). N i dont find it satanic in any way. Alexi just compares the tank to the satan.. thats all there is to it!!!

it's the best! | Reviewer: tere | 11/20/07

I'm italian but i listen to children of bodom every day!they're wonderful!my friends don't understand them..they think there are only screams and noises..I hope there aren't so many people like my friends..but..maybe their are right..anyway I'll listen to them forever!..and sixpounder is my favourite song!I'm sorry for my bad english..

They are NOT satanic | Reviewer: Anonymous | 10/29/07

A lot of people think COB is a satanic band because of this song, but as you can see its about war and how Alexi compares that tank
(the sixpounder) with the devil, just because someone says 666 and screams a lot doesnt mean its satanic. listen to the song he is clearly saying he`ll blow away the sixpounder.

sixpounder 666 | Reviewer: ezra ewenson | 9/11/07

i think its about war, yeah and the tank called the six pounder, and its to do with hate and anger because of the band, and there abit satanic so they talk about these sort of topics and what presure people in world war 2 were going throught, this tank most of killed alot of people

Best song ever | Reviewer: Anonymous | 8/18/07

I've been a fan of CoB since 1999 and I love their songs, All of them. This one is probably my favorite one by them. Excellent song :D

lots of screaming | Reviewer: Anonymous | 8/6/07

children of bodom sing the a way that i can only call noise and screaming.....i cant even understand the words if i read the text in time with the sin....screaming

real meaning | Reviewer: Hugh Jass | 7/30/07

i actually believe the true meaning behind this song is that its about a six pound turd that evolves into satan.its clearly noticeable in some of the phrases...like.."I'm ready to blow you away...666..pounder"..and "what it takes to bring you down"..also Pain! and Go! both describe what it would feel like if someone actually would shit a six pound satan turd

Very clear meaning | Reviewer: Bodom Beach Terror | 7/18/07

The song does hint obvious anger and hate. However the song talks about warfare. And how a country tends to threaten and anhilate their enemies. This song may be very well associated with World War II because of the title of the song. Six pounder is an anti tank gun that was used in world war II. You can see this reference clearly when he says "The wrecking voice getting nearer" and "Load the six pounder"

sixpounder | Reviewer: King Darkness | 7/14/07

i think is all about being pissed off at someone that is just always pounding at you. in a way this song means GET THE FUCK OFF, BEFORE I DESTROY YOU! :P but anyway that is just me
