Dont be shy | Reviewer: Caz welsh | 10/14/11

I first heard this song in the film mr magoriums wonder emporium. A film that helps kids deal with death. Such a beautiful song that has brought tears to my eyes. It helped me to go out and make friends and not be so shy. I love cat stevens music.

for the future | Reviewer: angie | 11/15/10

i heard this song on a relatively recent movie, it made my heart flutter, like when you're beggining to fall in love.
maybe i'm just lucky but my dad knew it was cat stevens's so i looked for the song and i just can't stop hearing it on my mind, it's the kind of thing i want my grandchildren to listen... and i'm only 20 years old

Fear of Feelings | Reviewer: Benjamin | 10/14/10

This song has inspired me to re-write a play that I have not worked on for twenty years. The play is about feelings and being lost in the world with no bearings as a result of not being in touch with them (feelings). In particular the words "don't wear fear or nobody will know you're there" rings so true for me-- the invisibility to both yourself and others due to not knowing and expressing them.

Going to College and scared | Reviewer: MAC | 4/21/10

Listening to this song helped me hold my head high as I began school after 25 years. I was signed up for full time university, but only after I was laid off. I had just lost my house, but I still had my 4 kids and a loving wife that told me to go for my dreams now or never tomorrow I may be too old. I figured what the heck, I have no more material things to lose. But in the past , I wasn't the school type, I quit high school when I was a kid. Luckly I got my GED some 20 years ago. So with my GED in hand I walked through the University doors scared but listening to this song echo in my mind. I entered the bachelors program in legal studies some three years now, looking back I have made the deans list each semester, I just hit high honors and was inducted in to the society (top 10% of the entire university) and soon I will graduate and I plan to go to Law Shcool I am sure this song will be ringing in my mind again. Don't underestimate the power of music and positive thought and yes, a supportive wife!

Don't be afraid to let your feelings show | Reviewer: Rick | 12/19/08

Yes, I have loved this song since the Harold & Maude days as well... it's an anthem for pulling down barriers to love and to feeling the life inside. Love everyone. Love every thing. All you need is love.

powerful | Reviewer: Greg | 11/28/07

I don't know what it is about this song. There's such truth in his voice. I think this is one of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard.

hey | Reviewer: Anonymous | 7/7/07

One of the best songs ever--Also heard it many years ago, Harold and Maude as well--anyway, now it's at the end of Sicko. Great moveie, bye the way. This song ends it, it practically caused major problems for me. I could barely leave the theater. Anyway, this song rocks.
