God is the one who does the glory not men | Reviewer: BAMBI | 11/10/08
This song really touch my heart on how God showed his love for us and we aren't repaying back the way a true christian should do it. And don't forget dat is not about religion is about how much u love god and follow his word. We should be thankful to him everyday that he gives us life and that he protects us from harm in anyway a man can't. In 1 Peter 2:9 it says that we are chosen generation and we should not be sitting down wasting our time, is time for the true people of christ to stand up and get out into the world and preach the word of God to those people dat don't have God in their hearts. Dat is why God still has us in this world because MANY WILL BE CALLED BUT SO FEW WILL LEAVE WITH CHRIST. Never be ashamed of preaching to someone because their is nothing ashamed about God. Remember God will always here ur prayers and when u feel alone don't forget dat their is always someone in heaven dats taking care of u.... GOD BLESS U ALL
we are the body. | Reviewer: stephanie | 10/21/08
we are the body of christ and should love other as christ loves us. we look at people through the eyes of the world so much. but if we saw people as christ saw us, it would be so different, so much better. christ doesn't look at what we look like on the outside, he doesn't pick and choose through people. in his eyes everyone is beautiful, we must be because we are created in his image. to god we look just right, to the world we call people ugly and all sorts of names. how do you think that makes god feel when you call one of his children ugly? our goal is to bring people to god. we need to reach out, not push away. go in the world, not stay in our comfort zones. show love to the hated. we are the body.
No Judgment Allowed | Reviewer: Jessica | 10/13/08
This song by casting crowns meant a lot to me, because my family has always been looking for a church where we can fit in and feel like we belong. Some churches today just do not get the fact that they should be there for the Lord and not themselves. Judgment belongs to those who judge and Jesus does not stand for judgmental critical attitudes towards fellow Christians and unbelievers. He loves us all. As a church body, we need to remember that this is what we here to heal, to reach, and to minister. This is the best song done by Casting Crowns and one of my favorites. Casting Crowns is a great ministry using their talents through song to get the Love of Jesus out to people!
Living in the Body | Reviewer: Jenny Burton | 9/9/08
I am 21 years old and have listened to this song over and over again and now see that I am not living the body, I am a sinner and need to go back to my life of Christ. I have fallen back into old ways of doing the Devils deeds when I should be Doing the work of God. I will not change over night and I do know this but at the same time I shall change. The good Lord never turned his back on me he's always been reaching for me... I've just been too busy being mad and stuburn to notice. After listening too this song I have lifted my voice and taken the Lords hand. I have decided to be the voice that the Lord intended me to be. I am hear for anyone who would like to Talk and Thank You Lord for sending these beautiful words to Casting Crowns Thay are wonderful.

After listening to this song which a gilr in my youth group played to me I had to download it i Loved it, The message behind it and the love it tells us we should have for eachother as well as God. I also realised alot of my music can relate to our relationships with god, like Before your Love by Kelly Clarkson.
Truly, Why? | Reviewer: jMichelle | 4/28/08
I have been burdened recently by the incredible lack in the Christian church today. This song just so challenges our lukewarmness! If we are the body, why AREN'T His hands reaching?? Is our love that cold? The love of Jesus is so so sooo missing from our lives--our love for Him and His love for others flowing through us. Let us let God break our pride and our walls of defence, our walls of self-suffiency, our walls that make us islands...Reach out! Heal! Teach! Show! Go! Love! Forget the status quo, forget appearances--except the appearance of Christ.
this is a great song | Reviewer: rachel | 3/17/08
This song really touched me and I am only ten. but It is great how god is teaching his message through others. And this song is a great way to do it it reminds me of how Jesus died on the cross and it tells me that even if we sin he will always forgive us and remember he loves you! God bless!
the glory goes where? | Reviewer: Anonymous | 3/6/08
as uplifting as casting crowns is, let us not forget that they are part of the b0dy just like we are. im encouraged to continue on in this w0rld, but reminded that the p0wer of this message came from jesUs himself, not casting crowns. praise hIm for teaching me through others.
Beyond non-judgement | Reviewer: Anonymous | 2/15/08
This song, imho, is based on the book of James. If you have faith, but your works or deeds do not reflect it, we, as followers of Christ are worthless.
This song reminds me that the work that I have been doing with refugees, the 'lower'parts of society and the disenfranchised is exactly what Christ wants me to be doing.
if we could learn | Reviewer: gordon | 2/11/08
im only 13 bu this song just reachs out to me and tells me not to be a judgmental person. i think as good christians we schould all point out the good in people and forget the so called bad cause god loves us all the same. great job casting crowns and god bless all
This is a great song | Reviewer: Nancy | 1/30/08
I love this song because it constantly reminds to love others, to teach about His Word and to tell others about Him. Every time I listen to this song, I feel I'm not a good enough follower of Christ and it makes me want to do better
Inspiring | Reviewer: Anonymous | 1/29/08
My two friends and I came back from a missions trip totally on fire for God. We had such a desire to spread the word and be the hands and feet of Christ. We decided to start a group independent of our youth group. While determining the name and game plan of this group, we heard this song on the radio. We all loved it, and it inspired us. When it ended we had tears in our eyes. Our group is called The Body and we are dedicated to fulfilling all things mentioned in this song. We want to be His arms reaching, His hands healing, His words teaching, His feet going, and His love showing the way. It’s been hard, and we’ve felt the set backs of our youth, we are 15-17. Yet we listen to this song and know that we are doing the right thing. Thank you Casting Crowns for this powerful message.
What if...You're not the body?! | Reviewer: nate taylor | 12/22/07
It is strange how many people will see the inconsistancies of the so called church and really never acknowledge what they see. What most people see and hunger for is not what is being manifested in "church"! Always an excuse for our human faults....basically making excuses.
The question that I want to propose to you is...what if you're not the body?! I asked a person just yesterday.....If you could raise your own church...what would it be? She said more like what the bible teaches! I said absolutely.
Is there a group of people that live like that?
I would say so.....in fact I know so! They are not "Christians" in the sense that we know today. In fact...If you are a die hard and you refuse to acknowledge the lack of evidence produced by the "church" you will be greatly offened by what they have to say...as I was....at first. Look...its simple...if the body isnt reaching...teaching..healing...going...everything that this song states...its probably not the true body....right? So would you be willing to visit a people who were doing all these things? Living a life set apart...bearing the fruit as described biblically? I am not ashamed...I call them friends and visit regularly....for the last 4 years. I have not joined for two reasons...1 Im very selfish and 2) I was burned by my so called "christian" brothers that Im not in a hurry to just jump into something! If you're truly a seeker and you're tired of... well you know! Then go visit the Twelve Tribes(the commonwealth of Isreal)....day or night...the door is Always open. Visit their web site at www.twelvetribes.org or call 1-888-twelvet. I like good conversation as well so feel free to mail me:)younglionstkd@hotmail.com
