I'm just eleven and I thought of the song as a message. My family is falling apart at first i read my bible all the time and prayed 24/7 but since every thing effected me as my parents getting separated. I was so young i didnt know how bad of a turn a divorce can put me through. Every since my parents started to fight on the phone all the time, my grades used to drop, and every time i got in a verbal fight at school i'll turn away from god thinking it was okay since i was young. I feel every thing is okay when i hear this song. And i think of the old days and cry. I'm slowly progressing on starting to be more biblical. I went through the a similar thing to you, confused teenager: I slept with my boyfriend about a year ago. After that I made the mistake of living in the guilt and the whole mess of it all for a long time. Living like this often sent me back into the same temptations and distracted me from a lot of really important things. Read 1 John 1:9. Our sins can seem colossal, and the devil would like us to think that not even God could love us after some of the things we've done. But God's power dwarfs our sins. His son has already paid the price for our sins and given us His grace, so we can draw near to Him. Trust that God loves and forgives you. Don't forget what happened, learn from it and see how God can use it to help you grow as a Christian and draw you ever closer to Him.
