Iconic Song of a Hopeless Time | Reviewer: Mike Modelle | 10/20/13
This is a terrific dirge - a song of self lamentation and mourning. Its endlessly repeating drum beat is a wire tap to the heart beat of life. For effect, superimposed over the beat are minor resolving chords by low strings and organ that depict the hopelessness and sadness of the times. The lyrics explain what it means to be the walking dead, dead and not yet buried by a terrible and mysterious sickness focused on a minority not missed by most of society. It is beautiful in its brutality, memorable for spot-on artistic enterpretaion of a very dark time.
Been There | Reviewer: Don | 10/18/10
Whoever wrote this song must have been there, in one way or another. A beautiful song which should, I hope, give cause for thought and hope to those to whom it relates. I wish them Good Luck and Good Health.
Very heartfelt | Reviewer: Anonymous | 5/8/09
