This collection of songs will make you work for it's rewards, but I can promise you, if you have the maturity to listen to 'Reno' without being distracted by the deliberate crudity of the lyric, or the heart that will let you listen to 'The Hitter' and to be moved by it, you will really, REALLY love this album. I used to think Dylan was the greatest lyricist ever. Springsteen creates an intimacy and an open honesty that can break your heart. Not a duff song on the album. I personally enjoyed it better than Darkness On The Edge Of Town.
