It would get 10 stars from me. Very simple, but skilled song. They sum up infatuation pretty well. Also it has a really interesting harmony/ chord progression in the chorus. I II vi for one measure, then when lessing for the V it goes to the IV, then to V, and finally back to the I. Nice little combination of a "Rhythm Changes" progression with a Blues progression.

this song pretty much sums up life. Its simplistic point, is not overly done. He really has the most profound ability to relate to anyone by showing his honest self, which few are up to doing in fear of being rejected.

My absolute favorite line of any Bright Eyes song would have to be:
'but I'd rather be working for a paycheck, than waiting to win the lottery. Besides maybe this time its different, I mean i really think you'll like me'
he shows his want to work hard to make this new enlightenment of his self just work.
amazing

I love this song, how can a man just with his voice and his guitar, can make feel.. this way...
"Remember the night you drove all night, just to meet me in the morning"... Hopefully we all find someone who could do that for us...
I love this song!

I really am inlove with this song, it has such a simple sound and yet it comes down to the bottom of the heart - I think the most cinical person (which I tend to be, most of the time) cannot stand this sweet sticky song. Just lovely.

You don't have to be in love to love this song. It's well rounded and everybody can connect to this song, either it be with ur significant other, a newborn baby, your friend, a job, even with urself =) and etc, etc. This song just enraptures the heart perfectly well.

Great song..not just a love song, a song about hope, and to change everything to being great..a song about people who have been in love, but always at the wrong times, and now hope to get the timing right..great song..

Extremely, outstandingly catchy and then I made the mistake to take a look at the video. Just a perfect lovesong fot those who are in love and a terribly heart-tearing song for all of us who aren't.
So now that we know what we miss ... .
