This song has so much meaning Breaking Benjamin is one of my favorite bands im not sure ezactly what the song is about but the first time iheard it i felt haunted inside But i get like that the first time i hear alot of sad songs, this is a good for the depressed days, great song, greater band.

This song is about a person who got outta an unhealthy relationship who the signif. other kept on fucking up every time they tried to work it out. And he/she lost his/her way because she/he felt lost w/out him after she/he left him after so long, but sees the light @ the end of the tunnel, and found that she/he is able to move on without the signif. other. He/she won the fight cause he/she chose to leave the unhealthy relationship. **It is not about suicide.

This song, to ME, is about getting out of an unhealthy relationship and how the significant other kept on fucking it up every time they tried to work it out. And the part of about being lost: is that he/she felt lost when she/he left the signif. other, but she/he has found the light @ the end of the tunnel and that's where: "let this life" begins, that she/he can begin to live life without the signif. other. And after all the arguments they had, he/she's the one that won because he/she got out of the emotionally abusive relationsip.

to me this song is about fighting, fighting for your life. Why should we give up or give in? we shouldn't don't we make it a point to try our whole lives? Instead of letting others tell us we aren't good enough just believe in the end it all comes down to you...what your willing to do for your life....

BB is the only band that has a song WITH a swearword in it that I would not mind playing around my mother. The way it is done in this song is so that it adds an "edge", I wouldnt think the song works without it, but it doesnt STAND OUT like a lot of other music.

w/e cussing doesnt change the song, just LISTEN and mabe you would understand that using cusswords in some frazes make the meaning stronger. dont try and say it aint right, cause heck ya im christian, but cussing is in everyones life, and im not gunna get all upset about it, so knock it off 'k? it could be about love AND suicide, isnt it suposed to be "love is the slowest form of suicide" or "love prevents all suicide" a guy drove me to suicide, but an amazing guy led me away from it, by using his love and MUSIC. people think of thigs diffrently, just like music. It can mean so many diffrent things yet mabe one thing at a time. you just have to look at it in your way, everyones life is diffrent, so they may look at it diffrently. People go through so many things in life, and mabe music is a thing that keeps them going, its what kept me going when alot of the people in my life gave up on me, yet i stand with one person now, all because i came home, threw away the blades and listend to my music and his voice EVERYDAY. when you finially understand the passion and the love of music for some people then you can come talk to me about swear words, cause as of right now SHUT UP, cause u dont know anything if you cant go without sayin "OMGOSH DID U HEAR THAT WORD??" come on, we arent perfect, shut up and listen to somethin else if your gunna judge, ive been judeged enough lately so quit judgein my music 2.

Ok 1 Poodu2 is right. This is a song about love not suicide. 2 this is probably one of there best songs, well i'd have to say unless people here like The Diary Of Jane or Dance With The Devil. 3 I live off this song so i know how it feels in this one cause i just got out of a relationship and i've listened to this song for the longest time. This song is, well i believe a vurtue to music. Like really don't throw a fit because theres one swear word at the end like "OMFG NOOO THE SONG IS RUINED MY LIFE IS OVER :(" like come on. A swear word, a riff and a bass line are all the same and dude im in a band so give me a break. 1 swear word can add meaning to a whole sentence. And for everyone else out there. THIS SONG IS A MUST GET AND I LOVE IT :)

This, truly is an amazing song. I love how it's sung, and I love the guitars rifts. The lyrics are beautiful. They're not typical and immature. They're intelligent and deep. Something that is not common these days.
And who the FUCK cares about the word? It's a word you probably hear over fifty times a day, at the very least. Breaking Benjamin is a grown-up band, just to let you know. They can use whatever types of words they would like in their songs. And using, "without you fucking up" does put a more strong vibe than "without you messing up." It really shouldn't bother you anyway. x_x

This song is not about Suicide... It's about breaking up a relationship... think about it. "I knew this day would come to end, so let this life begin" the life with the relationship is over, and hes beginning a new life.. not ending his life. Besides. "I will go on until then end". contradicts the suicide theory so... yeah... just for fun lets throw in another elipsis ...

For fucks sake if you can't take a swear word you're defenetly in the wroung kind of music. Besides,these guys are too good for swear words,they've plenty of other without a single swear.They ( and every other artist) use ocasional swear words to strengthen something in the lyrics. I mean damn,'without you messing up' is just plain gay, they need to put 'without you fucking up' to put more of an agressive egde and meaning on the lyrics.
Just grow the fuck up and learn how to take curses without going 'OOOOOOOOOOOH' on them alright?

If you consider other songs(rap/RNB), I'm sure there are MORE swear words in those lyrics. Seriously it's just a line " Without you fucking up", why must you guys say "OMFG YOU RUINED THE SONG!!". It's easy to listen to and learn to grow up, noobs.
