Im very confused on wat exactly this song means. because my ex has it on his myspace profile. and i no that its meant toward me. cuz the music he listens to, describes the way he is feeling...soo wat is he trying to tell me?=[

This song is about a guy who breaks up with a girl for no reason, and he regrets it. but she seems to have moved on and he won't let it go, but he'd do anything for her, even if it means getting rid of himself. he just wants her to know that he loves her, whether or not they are still together and that he wants a second chance.

the way this song is written reminds me of a guy that cheats on a girl and breaks up with her for it instead of doing the dick thing and keep going out with her. yet he will only be her friend when she wants more and yet he wont allow himself to be more because he doesnt want to hurt her anymore. specially lines like call me a safe bet im betting im not.

says to me that she believed him and that really he wasnt as truthfull as he could be.

i dont know may meen something different but for me thats what it is.

wow so true, this song remindes me of a guy who stole my heart and then crushed it like i meant nothing, and if i had heard these lyrics sung to me by him, i would have melted, like the first time i talked to him. but hes out of my life forever, and it took a very long time to forget the heartace he put me through. so wat hapened to you?

I love this song. It makes me cry, I wish someone, a specific someone, would turn around and just sing them to me. Mean them. I don't care if it means we'll never speak again, but if he meant them, I could move on, I could forget.

Its brilliant, how well everything Jesse says goes together, and how all of his songs seem to relate to my life somehow. I believe the reason i have such an attraction to the lyrics is because its a completely different way of thinking, its not collegian injected escapism. Every word is true, and its absolutely amazing.
