I usually like a select few groups and stick to them and indulge myself in all of their music, however, a friend of mine introduced me to Brand New a few nights ago. Now I can't stop listening to their music. They are lyrical geniuses, honestly. I listened to this song with my friend and then later on I sat down and brought up the lyrics and read along as I listened. I understood it immediately and was completely blown away by it. "Sic Transit Gloria...Glory Fades" and "The Quiet Things No One Ever Knows" are by far two of the greatest songs written within the past decade. I cannot wait to see them in concert when they next go on tour. Unfortunately they are just wrapping up a tour and probably wont be on another for awhile. No worries though, it just gives me more time to listen to their albums.
