So Yeah... | Reviewer: Chris | 1/17/08

I think its great that they wrote a song about a guy whose nevous his first time and is worried that she dosent really love him...i mean come on! i dont think that there is one guy out there who dosent question there relationship? idk, but i no first hand what it feels like i mean the first time i had sex she went out and did stuff with one of my bestfriends the day after...and ive been still dating this girl for almost 5 yrs now ;)

idk, its a faze everyone goes through and feelings get hurt you just need to grow up about it and realize that there was no meaning to it and get past it wether ur going to saty with the person or not.

-srry for it being so long :)-

yay | Reviewer: Anonymous | 11/29/07

She's moving way too fast and all he wanted was to hold her
Nothing that he tells her is really having an effect
He whispers that he loves her,but she's probably only looking for se-...

i love those lines because i have definitely felt that way, where all you want is to be held and someone to say i love you where it's not just about sex. i just love the fact that those words are coming from a guy because it made me realize that guys are sensitive too.

brand new has always been my favorite. | Reviewer: Anonymous | 11/12/07

this song is amazing.

it makes you think about love and trust.
and how sometimes guys arent the only ones that are shallow. like, you usually think of a guy just being in a relationship with a girl so he can mess around with her (which isnt true with everyone of course) but guys are known to be more hormone-driven. but it shows how bad being used can hurt from a guys perspective.

tight! | Reviewer: boogieman | 11/7/07

ok so when i first heard this song, i wuz like omg i love it.
haha well i tried to understand the lyrics but couldn't at all.
so just now, i decided to look up the lyrics and wow it hit me.
not only does this song have a great beat, it has great meaning too.
it really makes you think: like who i have sex with, does it mean anything to her or him?
well this song is a great way to explain how a lot of times people are used.
it sux but its life..

you know, actually | Reviewer: thisonegirl | 10/14/07

this is the first time i actually looked up the lyrics for this song.
when i first heard it, it was just music that sounded good.
and even recently i'm just like, yeah i wish i knew what they were saying, it sounds like such a good song.
and now that i know what the song actually says i can appreciate it even more. <3

--really long "let's share some personal information anonymously" bit ----

me, well i'm a virgin. but i had this boyfriend that i (thought i) was totally in love with. and i even considered taking that step with him, but i knew for sure it would be a long while after we'd been going out. but he'd always ask me, like: so when?
well i found out that when we were going out, he'd lost his virginity like between 2 weeks before and a month before. something like that. and it turned out that we broke up within a week. and i felt like such an idiot when i found out that i fell for that shit, like he really cared about me. but in the end: good for me. now i know. my friend was just like: good thing you DIDN'T do him.
so let's just say: well yeah that sucked but let's laugh it off a little too. know what i mean?
idk, i think it's just one of those things that happen that's really unfortunate, but it happens so much now it's just like.. well what can you do?
exactly.
sad situations, but you can't undo these things.
and you can't always keep yourself from making bad decisions or just being blind.

omg | Reviewer: sophi | 10/8/07

ok, i adore this song, but for gods sake get the lyrics right! this is crap and it makes no sense and anyone who has honestly listened to the song at least once can tell you that. thanks.

anyway... | Reviewer: yor grendmea | 10/1/07

ok so i love extreme the song and i understand it and everything, but jesse was in TBS(gotta love wiki)
thought id tell you.

Wow | Reviewer: Tosh | 9/30/07

What a turn of events, when I first heard this.. like many years ago, I thought 'What is this song about?' Now that I listen and read the lyrics, it's about her taking advantage of a first timer.

Finally, showing that some women can have the ups during a relationship

A-W-E-S-O-M-E

Daring... someone names the hookup for what it is? | Reviewer: Anonymous | 10/1/07

This song is amazing... I think it perfectly captures the tension and pressure sex puts on people... they forget the entire reason that they started the relationship.

Or, the cruelty of the random hookup. I hate that people think sex is so separate from love.

Coldly & impersonally is how a lot of people treat sex. It's lost a lot of meaning... :(...

hey anonymous guy!!! | Reviewer: bree | 9/18/07

hey so that was really nice what you said i never realized it could be the other way around! wow thats cool that you were sooo honest. most guys wouldn't admit what you said, well at least the ones I know but yeah write someting back girls and guys if you think all guys should be more like this!!! thanx <3

Brilliant | Reviewer: Anonymous | 9/13/07

I gotta admit, its great to see a song from the guys point of view.

Usually, if we're being honest, it IS the guy that's taking advantage.

I haven't actually lost mine yet.
I came very close once, but i actually realised she was only after me for one thing....So i left.

Its funny, The only reason i figured it out is because this song came into my head and i sorta thought "Wait a second....She doesn't love me."

I plan on losing mine to someone special....If that means waiting a little longer..So be it.

Exactly | Reviewer: Tyler | 9/4/07

That's pretty much how I felt when I lost my virginity. Although when I lost mine, the girl left me 3 months later. I still have yet to find a girl that I can have sex with and have a meaningful relationship with at the same time.

jesse lacey | Reviewer: rachy | 8/26/07

john nolan, jesse and adam lazzara were all in TBS at the beginning, then john slept with jesses girlfriend, so jesse left the band. their last words were on the phone when jesse said "You're as subtle as a brick on the small of my back so lets end this call and end this conversation" and hung up. those lyrics are now in "seventy times 7" by brand new. then TBS came out with the song "there is no I in team" which is johns side of the story. but the seventy times 7 song is a verse out the bible. the bible says that if you are mad at someone you should not just forgive them once, or seven times, or seventy times, but seventy times seven.
bit of brand new knowledge for you there ;)
but i agree, this song is great. i didnt really listen to the lyrics the first time upon hearing it, but the second time i noticed them and i knew they were about her just wanting sex. i cant say i can relate to this, but all the same, amazing song.

Damn... | Reviewer: Roelosaurus | 8/24/07

This really gets you thinking...
In my opinion it's about the boy lovin' someone and at first thinking she loves him back, but then he finds out she only want him to have sex with.
When I lost my V I really loved the girl (she was still a V to, we both lost it together), but 2 days after we had sex she told me she wanted to catch up with her best friend who lost her V a week befor...
Used, that is how I felt.
Now to me sex is something that's loose from love - even tho I know it's wrong.
So far I haven't found a girl worth loving and having sex with that matters.
Somethimes -like now- I think about it. This song helps me trying to find some real love...

This song is AMAZING i must say...its purely genius, the mood is soo real and from either a guy or girls stand point i think you can really relate.
