This song is about Tom being addicted to drugs.. he done something really bad to his body playing the guitar and had to get surgery cos he was in a lot of pain, however he still kept the drugs to "mask" the pain but it never went away. and this is what he kinda felt about his life.. he got sober and created AvA.. something like that, it's not about relationships for sure

This song is really good, it just explains really well the problems and feelings people have when thier relationships hit a bad point. LOVE THIS SONG!!
