This song is truly a masterpiece. Anyone who cannot find something in these words to relate to is in sad shape indeed.
Find what meaning you will, but this song is just as relevant today as it was then.

Lyrically, this may be one of the greatest songs ever written. The amount of depth and the breadth of topics is incredible, and the metaphors run deep. His rhythm and general rhyme scheme would be difficult for even the most practiced to compete with. A true gem.
