------ performed by Blue October

I finally know the name of this song | Reviewer: Rockero | 12/5/2007

I heard this song on a local Radio station from Sacramento and for about a month I've been trying to find out what the name and artist of the song were, I thought the name was "let the rain fall down." but everytime I search for that title I would get a bunk-a$$ Hilary Duff song. I havent heard other stuff from Blue October but I will look for more of they're songs. Thanks to who ever takes care of putting this songs here.

overwhelmed | Reviewer: vaughn | 11/14/2007

I can relate to this song .
I actually heard it by accident, and never really liked blue october before i heard this song.
I've got alot of things on my mind right now and it feels as though im drowning in my own thoughts, and im looking for someone to talk to about these things yet i cant get ahold of anyone. im screaming, crying out for help and yet knowone is listening.I wish i didnt have to think of these things, they make me even more insecure than i already am. but this song kind of helps. wich is prolly the reason i am listening to it over and over again.

Amazing Song by blue october | Reviewer: Anonymous | 6/27/2007

I only heard this song because of my friends who always blast their music and then i decided to listen to it myself and i loved it now they are one of my favorite bands.

Great Song | Reviewer: Anonymous | 6/20/2007

I was never a big fan of Blue October until I heard this song, and now I love them.

In response to other reviews, it's marked as explicit because another song in the same CD is explicit. Also, if you want to over-analyze it, I don't think there is a girl in his head or mind and that she left him. I think she died and he wants to kill himself because of it, but he also realizes that this is not what she would want him to do. She would want him to try.

Love it. | Reviewer: no | 5/29/2007

I've been singing for ABOUT 6 years now in a band. This was the first song we actually performed in an arranged thing in a school gym. The damn place was huge!

pretty awsome | Reviewer: Morgan | 5/5/2007

This song is awsome, but aren't most songs about someone having a hard time with stuff. It's a great song, but dont overthink it people! Just enjoy it.

Music Video | Reviewer: Anonymous | 5/4/2007

Have you seen the music video? It is so awesome. It's like... he's preforming for a bunch of kids and at the end all of his actors just leave him there. I guess this is a true story.

explicit | Reviewer: Anonymous | 4/20/2007

Why in itunes they have this song as "explicit"?
Thank you for the lyrics

I love this song its so deep and really makes me think about life and how presious it can be!!

love this song | Reviewer: hailey | 3/16/2007

i love this song, but it's not about some guy in trouble so he decides to jump off a boat...

it's so much deeper than that!

justin is talking about how hard life can get, and that sometimes you feel like the only way for it to get better is just to "jump."(jump=kill yourself...it's a metaphore.)
this whole song is a metaphore

he also says that when you have finally hit that point where you want to end everything, that nothing can hurt you..."let the rain come down."(also a metaphore)

"i'm reaching for the life within me"--he's saying that even though everyone's left him, and he has nothing left, he cant give up...that he has to go on, he's reaching for every ounce of strength, for anything worth living.

and then he talks about a girl...and i would like to believe that when he sees this girl in his dream, or head..that he's decided that she is his reason to live, that even without her, even though she's left him, he still wants to live for her.

this song is about depression, and love, and the will to live, and the end decision. its about hope, that no matter how bad things are, there is always some reason to live. theres something that keeps you from jumping.
