I've had a love affair with just about every song on this album, per usual, with this band. My current single-minded obsession is with "Doll is Mine." Amedeo's deliciously perfect whine delivers a special charm to this one, and I love the simple, light, chingy percussion that Simone provides. I love to analyze this band's modest but poignant lyrics. What I get out of this song is a story of possession and denial, but in a romanticized way that I'm not offended by.
