I understand your take on the song, but this song was not written specifically about God. I am a youth pastor and work with young life and live my life for Jesus, and this is my favorite song. I have connected with this song on a spiritual level and deeply love it, but it's intent was not written for God. This song really does show how far Blink has come, from songs like Happy Holidays, You Bastard, Depends, and Does My Breath Smell? that have little to no redeeming qualities and are aout masterbating, shitting in your pants, and getting kicked in the groin to writing a song as deep and meaningful as Not Now.
