This is really a fantastically written song, as true today in 2007 as it was in 1974. Will correct this, wanted to also comment here about the tune in general. I'm pretty sure, although not positive, that the transcription of the lyrics on here is not totally accurate. In the first and last stanzas, I believe it's "Another serenader in another long-haired band," not "another serenader and another long-haird man."
