I saw him in person for the first time at the Capitol Theatre in Passaic, NJ. He was in a pinstripe suit & Converse sneakers (Chuck Taylors?). He is magnificent. Always nails the deepest human feelings. He can make you jump, or break your heart. He's a poet, and we appreciate the way he exposes his feelings. Ever been to a Billy concert? If you want to experience a natural high, go to a Billy Joel Concert. I've been listening to Billy for many years, and the reason he is legendary is because he sings about life. He is real there is nothing phony about him. Wether you are an ancient relic or a teeny booper you will fall in love with Joel's music, because he caters to all. HONESTY comes across in every song he sings, you can hear the heart and soul of Billy when he sings. The way he plays that piano, is like a sixth sense. The last Billy Joel concert I attended was back in 95-when he played with Elton John here in Florida. Can't wait till February to hear & see the legend again. Talk about hearing a song and getting goose-bumps-you just can't stop smiling after one of Billy's concerts his magic is infectious. I mean how many people can go through everything Billy Joel went through then bounce right back and nail the charts with and amazing song, case and point uptown girl. Another thing that I serioussly dislike is that people don't give him very much credit in influence. Just look at other rock star lives and then Billy Joels he practiclly made rocks lives for his life yet nobody ever admits to that. Another thing peole don't realize is that his songs are really, just because he doesn't talk about having sex with a women every 2 lines doesn't mean its bad. So you guys who have never heard of this person should really start listening to the past or listening to your dads CDs more because this guy is great and he is only of a thousand famous rockers in the 1960's.
