Open wounds.. | Reviewer: Anonymous | 2/17/10

I was fostering a batch of sick puppies and I got overly attached to one of the last two survivors. I named him Rusty and he'd always perk up when I sang or hummed this song. I sang it to him when he died just a few days after he seemed to get better. I was holding him in my arms when he died..I cried so much and I cry every time I hear this song. :(

((It's a true story..None of it's made up so don't think that I just wanted sympathy like a bunch of other people have.))

Beautiful song ♥ | Reviewer: Melina | 5/21/09

I have to admit I came up with this song while looking for Twilight songs. But once I heard it, I fell in love with it. It's so touching, so deep. Whenever I listen to it, I start crying, don't know why...

This song was a dedication to me from my mom, she would sing this song every night to me when I was a baby, and I remember her telling me one night a couple years back, "I want you to sing this song to your children" then the next day, she was sent to the hospital for a mysterious illness that killed her in a couple weeks. This song is the world to me and reminds me of my mom, I most definetly will sing this to my children mom!

My son's favorite | Reviewer: Anonymous | 5/9/09

I was introduced to this song the day my son was born in Jan '07. My mother had bought us Billy Joel's book "Goodnight, My Angel" with the recording of the song in the cover. I have been singing the song ever since and even though I know other lullabies, 9 times out of 10 he will ask for simply "Angel". This is a wonderful song with a soothing melody, superb.

A Perfect combination | Reviewer: Patrick | 5/6/09

As a musician, I have never heard a song and lyric to combine so beautifully. I dont know anything about it's background, but after hearing it recently, I just could not wait to get the a recording, and after listening to it a number of times it still remains fresh and beautiful to me. It is a great sourse of inspiration.!

people, come on. | Reviewer: Anonymous | 1/29/09

I don't know why you all have to be blabbing on and onnn about Twilight.
Yeah, I like the books too, but HONESTLY. This isn't a random blog about Twilight. This is for reviews for THE SONG. Not Twilight. And for everyone that's like, OMG I WISH EDWARD WERE REAL!!! Get over it. Honestly. You people make me sick.

In Memory of My Dad 2003 | Reviewer: Jennifer | 10/2/08

My father loved to sail his boat on the Long Island Sound. He passed away on June 21, 2003 at the age of 52 from a rare form of cancer. He danced with me at my wedding to this song, exactly 3 months before he died.

It broke my heart...T_T | Reviewer: Bella | 8/16/08

Everytime I hear this song, it always, always makes me cry. And now that I've read the lyrics, it broke my heart! It's like there is no pain in the world to describe how much I hurt right now.

Is this really going to be the lullabye used in the movie "Twilight"? I've heard that Robert Pattinson was given the previledge to write his own Bella's Lullaby...

Whatever the song may be, lullabyes will always break my heart...

too touching | Reviewer: Anonymous | 8/12/08

I have no idea what movie everyone is talking about, but this song has touched me so much. My father died last October and I'm getting married this October. I wanted to play a song in his honor and was having the hardest time finding one that said what I wanted. This song fits my situation perfectly. Our love will never die.
