If you have read the Twilight series or just one you will get this song because it goes with the book and the lullabye Edward wrote for Bella and i can totally see Edward singing this to Bella.

its a tradition for our highest audition choir (a super coveted position... and they are AMAZING!!!)to sing this song at the end of every concert...i've heard it for as long as i can remember.. since i was little... and this year i'm in the choir thats singing it!! i can never get sick of it! i love this song!

This song reminds me soooo much of my favorite book, Twilight. From Edward to Bella (all of the Twilight-obsessed will know what I mean). It's so sweet. And it's a great song. For all you Twilighters, this isn't quite what I have in mind for Edward's song to Bella. The one I like is Appirition In The Fields by James Horner. It has no words, but if you can download it, you won't regret it. I normally don't perfer classical music, but Appirition is magical. Back to this song: it would be a great credits song, I think. but this song really is beautiful.

I have been a fan of Billy Joel forever...at 7 yrs. old my daughter fell in love with his music..we have both seen him in concert many times..she has dedicated Lullabye to her dad..they danced to it for her Sweet 16. She is 24 now and next year they will dance again to it for her wedding..the lyrics are beautiful, loving and timeless...wish Billy could be at her wedding to sing Lullabye himself...Thank you Billy for sharing your song for your daughter, so that my daughter and her dad have their own apecial song too.

I LOVE this song and I really had never herd it, or of it until I herd that the Twilight serise by Stephenie Meyer was being made into a movie and this song was going to be the lullabye Edward Cullen writes for Bella for her birthday, this song is so amazing, I have it as my profile song on myspace [look up Twilight soundtrack to find it] and I listen to it every nite when im going to sleep.

My friend showed me this song right before I met my birthmom. When I listen to it it reminds me of how she loved me. I think of it as her holding me one last time and her telling me no matter where i go she will never be far away. We listen to it together after we met. It's now our song. Thanks Billy Joel

This song made me cry (even before the books dealing with Astronomic Happenings)... and all the Twilight dorks out there (you know who you are) probably also agree with me It embodies Ed.

this song is one of the most beautiful songs i have ever heard. my mom use to sing this to me whn i was growing up and now i have three kids of my own and they also love this song. billy joel did a wonderful job in makeing a peice to be passed on for generations.

If ANYONE has read the Twilight books by Stephenie Meyer, you will FUHREAK when You listen to this song. I used to sing this song when I was really little, so maybe it was destiny I stumble on it again as i get bigger.
