No doubt Mr. Joel is one the greatest musicians ever, not only because of his mastery of piano and composing techniques, but also because of his ability to touch the most intimate fibers of human heart.

May I suggest you listen to "Lullabye" and "Leningrad", other two masterpieces. Bravo!

Tonight the Sterling College (Kansas) Choral group performed this number in concert. I knew I had heard it before but never more beautifully done. At 82 I cry easily and this one brought the tears. Tomorrow I will pick up a Billy Joel album to keep forever.

I heard this song when I saw the Boston Legal where Denny was remembering his dad...and the words and the music just went with the scene so well...it took me a few days to find it, but now I have...and I have it in my collection. A wonderful song...
