And I read some interesting posts. If you like Joel as a lyricist, try his Classical pieces from Fantasies and Delusions. It was panned for pretensiousness but unjustly so by people without an ear for Joel's earlier works. The melodies seem to spring up here and there in the classical compositions demonstrating he does have the chops to hold his own either as concert hall performer in Vienna or as a Piano Bar singer in Cold Harbor. Now, if I could only find the Album where this song comes from..... And So It Goes: on what CD is this song?
