Billy was on tour and stayed faithful to her and to the tour (didn't disuade his drinking and drugging mind you...)and was tormented when she would call him on the road and torment him re saying how much she missed him and how alone she was without him. He was trapped in his (touring) obligations and could do little about their inevitable distance and separation. He comes to learn that she was playin' him behind his back e.g. cheating, burning through his money and milking off of other 'gigalo-esque' men whom she would prey upon in his absence. Synopsis:(She)His muse, the resulting the lyrics, and hence the song. Total Heartbreak | Reviewer: Diamond | 9/13/07 Alright. This is what I think of the song. He says he's all out of hope. One more outbreak and he's gonna crack! Then he states for her NOT to call him, when she's alone, since he doesn't want to be bothered by her. Then he says It's easy for people to lie and to tease them, which is VERY true. But when reality hits, it's hard to let go because when people are in love, time is spent believing the lies that are told to them when they are being decieved.. And then he gets mad because he has been trying to keep the dream alive, HE BELIEVED IN HER!!! Then he also states, once it was good. All he's trying to say is that she's a disgrace. Then he just goes out there thinking of crazy things to do such as drinking and going on a trip and doing something stupid like reading murder books on how to kill a person! (LOL) What? He's gonna kill his girlfriend? We need Jerry Springer on this one. Well, sometimes love is blind. But not THIS time... My rating for the song is a straight 5/5 because I can realte to that song's lyrics. But I wouldn't kill anyone over some stupid heartbreak. It's called Get up and move on. It's easier said than done but... oh well. Eyes without a face is a rare expression describing someone who looks upon the world but the world cannot see them.
