Extend yourself to those in need... | Reviewer: Anonymous | 7/1/2007
being in the healthcare industry, i should say that this is a very uplifting song... literally, my patients borrow strength from me but in a deeper sense, they also borrow my zest for life. and i always end up praying to the Lord to give me strength to help the weak. and when i feel homesick, my patients let me feel a sense of family in that brief instance i am with them too. so, in essence, borrowing is possible... we each borrow from the other something to keep us going in our journey through life...

This song is about encouraging others.... | Reviewer: Patty | 4/5/2007
I differ with Ed. He says it's not Biblical. Actually, this reminds me of when the Israelites held up Moses' arms when they were in battle. He couldn't do it on his own and he needed his people's help. We all need each other and we are to encourage one another daily--to me this is encouraging, when we don't have any of our own, someone will lift us up.

This song is amazing... :O) | Reviewer: Anonymous | 10/18/2006
This song, "Borrow Mine" is simply a statement of what kind of a light we can be to others when we have faith and hope in God. What a testament it is to the love of Christ shining out to others from our own faith and belief in Him. When we believe, this light is a gift to others, making them more joyful, strengthened by the love of God through us. When they are failing, when they are weak, we can be God's strength for them; this is what he means by 'borrowing our strength and hope' accepting it and being flooded with it from God Himself through us. We are the way God reaches to others when they have lost thier faith. Amen!

Not sure about this song.... | Reviewer: Ed | 4/4/2006
Maybe someone could enlighten me, but this song doesn't give the sense of being biblically accurate. Where and how can we attain faith and strength by proxy? Sure it's a great 'friend' song, but as much as I would like to give my friends faith and strength, that's not possible. Nor is it possible for me to receive their faith and strength.
