I like Avril's songs, always have. I don't really like her image, but then again, I never did, but that part doesn't matter to me. I mean, she hasn't changed her voice or anything so she still sounds the same and I still like her lyrics. Especially this song!!! I can't believe I've never heard until today but it completely describes my life. =)
Oh, and not just girly girls like her music now, I know plenty of girls you'd describe as girly that don't like her now. Same goes for other girls that you'd put under different labels/cliques

i listen to this songs years ago..but now when it's happening to me..it happens a lot of times before, but listening to this song makes it feels all clearer and better this time..

I completely agree with Maryann and Helen. I think that Avril has completely changed. When she was before she was an idol for tomboys everywhere, but now she is some bubblegum pop rockstar and all of these tomboys that loved you feel alone and outcasted again. These people aren't your fans...they are girly girls trying to stay up with the latest fashions. Right before you did the Girlfriend music video you said you would never turn into the "bubblegum pop rockstar who only rights about boys". Then you turn around and there you are with blond hair, hot pink streaks, and singing about stealing somebody elses boyfriend. Deffinatly bubblegum pop rockstar. Please Avril...just think about it, your real fans are feling rejected because they aren't like you!

damn. i think the complainer people are somewhat right. she is more preppy now, and i liked her image better before, but i still like her music[[except Girlfriend, that song wierds me out...i dont even know why...]]. But 'Sammii' is right too. If you don't like her anymore, STOP PAYING ATTENTION TO HER. Everyone should just stay off everyone else's back about it. And no, not all the fans she has now are 'fans of the bubblegum popstar avril'. I HATE the bubblegummy shit. Pop pisses me off. But I still like her music. So yeah. Rawr.
