Omgg...Avril lavinge is such a GREAT,AWOSME And EVERYTHING!!!!!!! i love herrrr alo0o0o0o0ot her song's ARE so0o0o cool and they ROCK! I Specially love Her old song((Am With You)) Its So0o Lyk OMG...it make me CRY! AND I LOVE THAT =P LOL, ***AVRIL LAVINGE*** SAY'S ((She Think's When It Alway's Come's To Boy's They Have To Let Us Girl's Firt))...I THINK THAT'S SO MUCH LYK TRUE! either i look diffrent i doesnt look like her at all :(, but still everybody Know's that i lOVE HER from the way i dress up its lyk her style, and am so happy that i could make my self HER! LOL.

I don't understand anymore! she was so awesome before this. And now, she looks like a train wreck with her bleach blonde hair. I miss the hardcore avril we all knew. CHANGE BACK AVRIL!

I have already talked many times about her new stuff and I have said many times that I really hate the ''new Avril''. But I haven't described my feelings, yet, about the old Avril. And I want to say that I really love the old Avril, she was the best female singer ever. I love EVERY song in her first two albums, Let Go and Under My Skin. Thank you, Avril, for realising these two GREAT albums. The songs in these two albums describe my feelings very well and I can totally relate to them. I don’t know what I would do without these two great albums. I think your music was really emotional then, and you really rocked! You were perfect. Though you have changed your stuff and I don’t like the ‘‘new Avril’’, I will always love the old Avril. And that’s the real Avril. For me, Avril Lavigne hasn’t grown up and totally changed the kind she sings, she dresses and she talks, her character, songs and appearance. For me, Avril Lavigne ‘‘has died’’. This is not Avril; Avril isn’t a stupid blonde bubblegum pop star. For me, Avril Lavigne is a punk rock singer who doesn’t sing stupid pop songs, but great emotional songs. For me, Avril Lavigne is something unusual, something unordinary. You see, today’s female singers are ALL the same; stupid girls and women wearing pink skirts and dresses and singing stupid songs, FULL of REALLY STUPID lyrics and melody. Avril Lavigne wasn’t that; she was exactly the opposite. And that was perfect. Avril was perfect. Unfortunately, not anymore… And that’s really sad… :(

I have already listened to her new album, and I want to say that there are only two or three good, emotional songs on it. The rest of the songs on ''The Best Damn Thing'' are awful. In my opinion, this is not ''the best damn thing'', this is THE WORST DAMN THING EVER made by Avril

I think her new songs can't help anyone 'move on', as you say. And that's because her songs aren't ''authentic'' anymore. I mean, she used to write great songs describing her feelings. And many of her old songs describe my feelings too. But now she only writes songs because it's her job, there are no emotional songs written by Avril anymore. For example: why did she write the song girlfrieng? The lyrics are dedicated to no one. Other songs with no meaningful or dedicated lyrics to someone are the songs (for example) 'Hot', 'When You're Gone' and the rest of the album. But all of her old songs had a meaning: she wrote 'losing grip', 'my happy ending', 'he wasn't', 'naked' etc. which are dedicated to her boyfriends. She has also written lots of songs describing her feelings ('take me away', 'i'm with you', 'anything but ordinary', 'nobody's home' etc.). She has dedicated her song 'slipped away' to her grandpa. I can give you many examples like these. What I want to tell you is that, wether you like or not her new songs, the truth is that she can't relate to them, she has dedicated them to no one, she 's not Avril anymore and she 's stupid, hypocrite and awful. I really miss the old Avril like I 've missed my best friend... I want the real Avril back

I know. I completely understand what you're saying. But lately, she's gone through a lot, and it's probably really hard for her. Even if you don't like the preppy, "blonde" songs like "Girlfriend", other songs actually have a lot of meaning. Like, right now, I might actually be hurting myself if she didn't have the song "When you're gone". A friend of mine was recently killed, and this simple song has helped me so, so much. Even if you think that she's a hypocrite, she is every day helping people like me move on.

I agree with you in that everyone go through some sort of change in their life and that's not bad at all...But,in my opinion,what she did was really stupid.Do you know what she did?She became EXACTLY the kind of person she never wanted to be,the kind of person she always hated being and used to make fun of: a bubblegum popstar with a stupid girly look who sings stupid songs like girlfriend.Have you got anything else to say to support this BITCH?

I agree with you up to a point. I believe, too, that she was perfect in the past, actually until 2005 (since then she 's not Avril), I have also being a big fan of her for over 5 years (since I was 9) and I still being a big fan of the real Avril. But I think that it would be great if she decided to turn back into her real persona. Ok, I agree with you in that theese awful songs, album, videos, photos etc. will still exist and they can't be deleted of her own life and carrier, but imagine Avril turning back into her real persona! Imagine Avril being again the ''real Avril''! That would be almost great! That 's what I wanted to tell you, I hope you agree with me...

I know that you all feel that she's being a hypocrite, but everybody goes through stages. Her being very very punk rock and then going girly is really not that big of a deal, nor is it your problem. If you were her, you'd probably liked to be forgiven for her mistakes. On that note, she has changed quite a bit, and it's weird seeing her in this position. I don't really care. I love her songs, and her changing just makes her much more real to me. Everybody I know has gone through some sort of change in their life, all of you have too.

I believe she was great in the past but now she isn't, but I think that there's no point of turing into the ''old Avril'', anymore. And that's because she has done a big mistake by turning exactly into the kind of woman she used to hate being, she has already realised theese stupid singles, videos and album and got married not with a punk-rock wedding, but with exactly the opposite, which means that, first, it's too difficult to change her mind now and return into the old Avril, the ''real Avril'' as I believe and say, and second, all theese things (her awful wedding, the things she says now on interviews, her last album, singles, photos and videos etc.) she has been doing since she has started changing her songs, appearance and also her charater and her mind, can't be deleted of the facts of Avril Lavigne's life...
