Geeze I know everyone is entitled to their own opinion but damn! Rape...etc I doubt it. I absolutely love this band and have heard all of their songs the are def on the dark side but amazingly most of there songs that are dark are about life lessons and the temptation of evil and what it can do to your life. Some are about love and some are about being just straight up pissed off because someone seeks control over their emotions and they are raging against it....idk just my opinion....who's to say this song isn't about sex, an instance where someone has complete control of your desires but yet that person isn't satisfied with just one person so he hunts to pleasure someone else, hey these days sex is a powerful thing, so are the emotions, or should I say craving for lust that comes along with it...anyhoo on the bright side of things this is how I interpret it but I could be wrong : )

I love this song, it makes me think of liking someone dangerous and having hot wild sex, actually i get kinda of horny after i hear this song. But paying attention to the songs lyrics, i think is killing someone and possibly rape... but i dont care for the lyrics or the music, i just care of how it makes me feel.

I love the song for one. After I read all of your posts I tried to offer a different take. 2 options 1 plain and simple. He is a hunter. Sure his kill could be human but want I'd it was a deer? Then its not quite So twisted. Option # 2 he is a soldier. He's killed the enemy.

Tbh, this song reminds me of vampires now but it never used to. but thats only because I read Dracula recently lol (I have never read twilight, nor do I want to)

Honestly vampires n rape were the farthest things from my mind when I heard this song. It reminded me of sex. I mean who doesn't love hot wild kinky sex. Personally I'm a screamer n that's y i love this song so much. ;-)

It's most likely about a twisted man who rapes and/or kills for pleasure. I guess you'd have to ask A7X for the true meaning. But listen to the actual musical part of the song and not the lyrics. Remember a song comes from the instruments, the lyrics are usually put in after the instruments are recorded. That might be why screamo is usually not considered music to some people. People now judge a song by its lyrics not the instrumental part. Don't get me wrong, lyrics can be important and have meaning but the world needs to realize that if you don't understand lyrics don't dismiss the song as a bad song. Alot of musicians put the instruments before the lyrics and that's what I judge a song on. The instruments.

The stupid Twilight series has polluted people minds about werewolves and vampires.
I do believe this song is about rape 'cause some of the lyrics sound more like rape than wild and crazy sex.
The lyrics may sound vampire-ish, but I always thought it was about killing because that's what most rapists would do.

I think the song is a little vampirish.. AND, just because i say that it doesn't mean it has ANYTHING to do with twilight, twilight is not even a real vampire book, it's all pussy shit and this song could not be related to it. but it mentions blood and all that so im gonna stick to my assumption. plus, iv seen m shadows with fangs in other videos, like Beast and the Harlot. The assumption about it being about rape makes sense as well.

People, this song is DEFINITELY about rape!
And these lyrics are quite disgusting actually...
In terms of musicality though, good tune...
Also, I have to say that this guitarist is one of the best in the world in my opinion!

I've been looking at this for a little bit now cuz of ppl fighting over what song really about. What i believe is that it's about a guy who rapes women followed by killing them. I say this because at one point he says "Pleasure's all mine this time" indicating that he has done this more than once. Later he states, "Scream while there's life left" meaning he is going to kill her. You could argue that he just killing and not raping, but i think raping is more logical when he says "baby" and "ravage your body." lastly, just cuz he said "i'll taste your blood tonight" doesn't make him a vampire, blood is usually the result of killing someone.

For all of those people who are calling others retards because they simply have a different interpretation of the song, you all just need to lay off. I'm positive that there are others that don't agree with your perspective of the song's meaning. While I don't agree with the vampire/Twilight interpretation, I do see how some might get that idea. To basically sum up the point I'm trying to make: Everyone has the right to freely view and express what they think. Insulting them for simply stating what they perceived is just absurd and wrong. While I strongly dislike Twilight, I'm not gonna tell someone that they are below me mentally. So, Haters, have a nice day! :)

This song is definitely not about vampires or murder or any other crimes!!!!!!How can an album that is all about peace and love and truth,contain a song that encourages blood drinking or rape???!!! That kind od interpretation is REALLY the stupidest I`ve EVER read!!!

and never use vampire and twilight in the same sentence because the things in twilight are NOT vampires.
