This band is the fucking greatest in my point of view. I have been listening to them since 2007 and I will listen to them until 2070. my 2nd favorite band is BFMV and they don't have any thing on A7X. With there own unique sound they will have to make it to the top one day. Even though Jimmy(The Rev)Sullivan passed(R.I.P) I will always fucking love this band. And who cares about what religeon they are? I don't they are fucking Brutal any way it goes.

i've been with this band since sounding the seventh trumpet. avenged sevenfold is the only band i know that could continue to astound me years later. i know all their songs and i won't stop listening to them even now.

i love A7X they rock to the end and i dont no if there Christian or satanic but the truth is does it matter everbody likes there music and to me thats all that matter to me i love to rock out here and there and when i do i chose A7X they rock but if they are satanic thats there sad choice im a Christian but this is the kind of music i love there not gonna change my life they just gave me a better choice of music to rock out to the end

I loved reading thiss, but its really sad that James The Rev Owen Sullivan the drummer died on December 28th in hi home he was only 28 WE MISS U JIMMY U WILL DRUM ON OUR HEARTS foREVer WE LUVE U SOOOO MUCH AND MISS UU

I started listening to a7x about 3 years ago,my brother and I loved that band and my brother saw their concert about a year ago.I wish I could have gone,but I did'nt.I love that band they realy do kick ass!They rock.But recently,the drummer for a7x,"The Rev"(Jimmy Sullivan),died on December 28th 2010,at age 28.May he R.I.P.But as long as i live I will listen to a7x,and if you havent listened to avenged sevenfold,and you like hard rock,i encorage you to listen to them.Like many of us you will love them.PEACE GUYS!!

I started listening to them about a year ago, and now I can easily say they're my favorite band. I love the music, I love the lyrics, and I love the guys. (Uh, who doesn't?) They're talented, good looking, and they send great messages.
The deathbat logo is amazing. I plan on getting a tattoo of it in a few years. :)
My favorite CD is Waking the Fallen. So, yeah, I like the older stuff. But the new stuff is great too.
Of course, the fact that the guys are hilarious is just an added plus. :D
Love them or hate them, they don't care. You can't deny they are five of the most awesome people in the world.

I just started listening to this group not to long ago. I think that they totally rock. Now I can say that if you thoroughly listen to the lyrics...reviewer:fgsfdg; then you'd understand what they're talking about. For those who agree with me thanks and if you listen to Good Charlotte's "The River" than you would really know what Avenged Sevenfold is all about.

A7X isnt satanic. Dude, there are such things as metaphors. Its stupid ignorant people that misinterpret the lyrics that give A7X a bad rep. I read the bible today. Specifically Genesis Chapter 4. Thats where they get the name of the band from. You cant truly understand the band if you dont understand the religious background. No, they may not be a christian band, but they do use religion as a source of inspiration in their music. A7X is its own category of music. Instead of good vs. evil, it is both a protagonist and an antagonist (go back to english if you dont know what those words mean). They are a musical masterpiece. And I am saying this as a christian with a firm faith in god. They have a blend of all things music and they are very smart people, although they dont act like it sometimes haha but they cant be perfect. And for all of you who chastise them cuz you dont like them, they dont scream anymore, or for whatever reason, STOP. Let them live their lives and pursue their dreams. If you dont like it, dont listen to it. Complaining doesnt get you anywhere. Go get a life. Stop being negative. And Get off your lazy asses and step outside!!!! You cant live on an effing computer!

first off just because you curse in a song doesn't make it a satanic band, Beast and the harlot is a comparison to Los Vegas which is definitely called sin city for a reason, I am in a christian band and i use curse words when i need to put exclaimation on something, a7x is and has a lot of religious background in there songs, their first album is entitled sounding the seventh trumpet which if you have even picked up revelation you know what that means, also a lot of there songs pertain to Cain and Abel (see chapter four)

okay Avenged Sevenfold is'nt a christian band. 1 they cuss in some of there songs and 2 some of the songs are satanic. like Beast And The Harlot. Half of the ppl posting in here dnt even know the true meaning of that song. at the end of the song it says "Now if you wanna serve above or be a king below with us your

That basically means they want to go to hell and they are satanists even if they wont admit it. but i do have to say that the band rox even if i dnt like the lyrics

i fucking love avenged sevenfold, they inspire me with their creativity and the fact that they arent scared to do they're own thing.

like with Dear God, how they werent scared to make a country sounding song.
idk, i love them, they fucking taught me to not be afraid to live and that theres no point in regretting, and idk, they inspired me to chase my dream and they are all so gifted and some of the most amazing musicians that are alive today. and i have a very strong feeling that they are going to be one of the biggest bands yet, i think maybe they'll be the new Beatles.

they are truly amazingly talented, Matt has one of the most amazing voices ive ever heard, it is truly unique, synyster is one of the greatest guitar players in the world, and definitely my favorite, along with zacky, Rev is one of the most amazing drummers and hes just awesome, and so is johnny, hes an amazing bassist.
i hope they're around for years to come.
and Avenged Sevenfold is my favorite cd, so far, and i cant wait to see what they come up with next, i bet it'll be even better because their talent just keeps growing.

Shadows sexxxeh no fuck voice, it's so unique and like scratchy u know? lol My fav. song from their new album is Afterlife. but hey i love all the songs i just tend to liten to that one more than all the others...and yeah i agree they will become a HUGE band someday like Guns N roses, they're just so awesome!....LOVE YOU SYNYSTER!!!!! (never stop wearin ur sexc hat :P)

their songs "Beast and the Harlot" "Seize The Day" "almost Easy" "Bat Country" "A Little Piece Of Heaven" "Reminissions" and "Second HeartBeat" make my life worth living.
