Star Wars | Reviewer: Mezmerus | 9/8/11

I'm the only one who thinks this song is about Star Wars II, III and Anakin Skywalker/Darth Vader.
Like "Hatred fuels my blood/I'll burn you down" is Anakin on a rage after his mother died and "One king to watch the horsemen fail... I won't help you, let you rot away" is when Obi-Wan defeats Anakin and so on. Anyone agree whit me?

Can you all just get over who's better and who's not! SERIOUSLY! Just enjoy the damn song! Reguardless if you like Avenged Sevenfold or not, They're an awesome band, with awesome lyrics. I'm a huge fan, but I like tool too. It's not something to argue about, its an opinion, opinion's are like assholes, everyone has one, you don't like it, don't comment, or don't read it, just please for the love of god shut up about it!

Too complicated! | Reviewer: Courtney | 9/20/10

Wow, way to complicate it dude. I don't listen to music to think of big words, i listen to music because of the way it sounds, the way it makes me feel. Stop cutting a song into bits of rhythm and listen to the whole thing.

Well, musically... | Reviewer: Anonymous | 4/16/10

Drums are not the only instruments in a song. Different rhythms from all instruments, when used properly, can enhance the quality of a song. However, how did Pachelbell's Canon in D become so popular if it's a repeated 8-chord pattern? There is more to a song than rhythm, and depending on the mood the song is trying to create, the rhythm doesn't necessarily need to vary. With Avenged Sevenfold's style, the solo is actually worse than the guitar line in the backdrop of the interlude preceding it. Out of five, I'd give this song a 2.5 for ingenuity. For a well-constructed, Beethoven level composition, listen to "Almost Easy". Note that the syncopation in the chorus is actually in the same time signature.

Tool vs. A7X? | Reviewer: anon | 3/24/10

On the whole Tool vs. A7X thing, why does everyone think a good song must consist of good solos and differing beats? And Tool does not have the same beat repeated... BOth Tool and A7X are my favorrite bands, as well as Muse. Who says one can't enjoy variety?

Burn It Down | Reviewer: Michelle | 2/18/10

I love this song so much, it has much meaning to it. So people please listen. We are suppose to REVIEW about the song, not about a7x vs. tool. Mkay? Now please get on with life and just focus on great music that you are listening to!

Tool? | Reviewer: Allie | 1/16/10

Oh please? Tool sucks major ass, dude. I hate their twelve minute long songs about nothing, at least Avenged Sevenfold has beat & lyrics that you can get into. The only song I like by Tool is Schism, I'm sure that's everyone's favorite song by them, because it's mass played and the only song I can understand. Avenged Sevenfold has vocals, great guitar solos; all Tool has is a reoccurring beat the entire song, and words that don't cohere to each other in the least. Sorry for ripping on your music, Toolfans, but we all have our opinions.

Burn it D0wn | Reviewer: Jord | 8/22/09

I like A7X more than tool, this is merely because of my individual taste in music not because of one outdoing the other. last time I checked music wasn't a contest but more of a gateway into the soul or some other metaphorical bull shit like that. I don't its right to think of any music as better then anyone elses simply because it cannot be proven to be. Just because a song is dynamic or has a faster beat doesn't mean a slower song is worse. noob.

Tool vs. A7x | Reviewer: Anonymous | 8/15/09

Anyone who thinks A7x is better than Tool is sorely mistaken. I have the utmost respect for A7x's music; however they're lacking in a lot of areas, the first that comes to my mind is dynamic variability, the second being meaningful lyrics. And they sound terrible when they slow down. Tool just belongs to a different tier of musical quality.
