My favorite line is "Hate can be a positive emotion, when it forces you to better yourself." I'm so in love with that line, that i've been contemplating getting a tatoo with those lyrics. Either that or the ends justify my means. I think atreyu's is going to win though. This song helps me cope with stuff i lived through. There is always a person that thinks they are better than you, so your anger compells you to show them that you are "ten times better" than what they think they are. Alex is a dark romantic. His lyrics are awesome; he is the Edgar Allen Poe of our era. Music is an art form, and art employs symbolism. If you can't understand the message an artist is trying to send, why are you commenting? Lyrics should play with words, and just for future reference, Alex writes the lyrics, not Brandon. The goddam metaphors and his technique paint a haunting picture, and I think that's why we love Atreyu, right? Lyrics don't get much deeper than Alex's work. Reading the lyrics + listening to it at the same time just makes you apreciate it that much more. There were some lyrics that are hard to catch in the song that you just need to read.
