The curse is one of the best cd's ever in my opinion but with A Death Grip On Yesterday Atreyu has hit rock bottom totally destroying their hard image and in my opinion selling out to the mainstream don't get me wrong i'm not a person who only listens to screamo music but I just don't think Atreyu can pull off a softer cd and their Videos which have never been the best but atleast intresting have gone down hill greatly with the Release of The Theft vid has to be one of the most boring videos I have ever seen, It Truly saddens me to see such a force in Metal fall so far. They seem to be fallowing the same path as Avenged sevenfold also an all time fav Fuck Yes | Reviewer: Anonymous | 10/25/06 when i first listened to Atreyu it blew me away that someone could actually harmanise songs as well as Alex has... the drummer/vocalist Brendan is fucking awesome... he has by far the best voice in the world.... "the Curse" is one of my favourite albums but the first one that i brought was "Visons"... it was their first album released and i have been a fan since it first come out... going to see them at the "taste of chaos" this year was the best thing i've ever done in my life... having been able to meet Alex and Brendan in real life... GOD it was amazing... my Favourite song in the whole wide world by Atreyu would have to be "the rememberance ballad" although "the crimson" is also a favourite... the best sone on "a death grip on yesterday" would have to be "our sick story"... keep up the good work guys.... They are on the second stage at ozzfest this year kicking ass. I saw them actually. My favorite song would have to be our sick story .. A lot of people don't listen to that one as much so check it out. You'll love it if you like bleeding masscara which apparently is the most main stream song of theirs. They're very unique with their music videos and their choice of lyrics. I can relate to most of the songs actually. Some of my favorite are Right Side of the Bed, The Crimson, This Flesh a Tomb, Lipgloss and Black and a bunch of others. I'd have to say my favorite is Ex's and Oh's though. I can never get enough of this song. It's so powerful for some reason. Well all I really have to say is that I think Atreyu is an amazing band.
